Out on the town...

The Rogers family decided to venture out for dinner Friday night with our precious punkin in tow. We went to eat at a local restaurant and when the waitress asked us if we wanted a high chair we though sure...no better time than the present to give it a shot. And true to her perfect little self, Chloe rose to the occassion and sat nice and tall swinging her dangling chunky legs below as we all ate dinner....with no outbursts or tears. She had so much fun. Can't tell that we are proud doting parents can you??? LOL! We actually took this pic on our cell phone ~ so a big thank you to Uncle Brother who emailed it to us! Isn 't she a doll!

Around the house...

Chloe grabs anything she can chew on because she is cutting four (4) upper teeth all at once...yes I said 4...poor baby!
Help! Let me outta here! The last of the child containment devices she can still fit in...what happened to the good old play pins from yesteryear!?!? LOL!

Such a dainty little thing she is!

Who said you can't have play time right before bed???

Chloe's wrestling pit...seriously. She thrashes around like a fearless warrior in her travel crib (which doubles as a smaller pack-n-play), bouncing off the sides and body slamming her stuffed animals. She shows no mercy people! I pitty the poor children in her class...she can box and now wrestle...those poor boys don't stand a chance. At least Chris can rest easy! ;)

My, quite the prissy girl we are! ;)

Chloe barely has enough hair to keep this cute little hair bow in. But, luckily enough...barely enough....was just enough. We took these pics right before Kristen Overbay (photographer) came to shoot Chloe's 3rd photo session. She looks so prissy...but oh so adorable.

Feeding Frenzy!

Chloe LOVES to eat...and I do mean LOVES to eat. I can't quite figure out if it is actually the food she loves or if it's the mess she makes...either way, it's a true feeding frenzy!

Where did July go!?!?!?

The Rogers' household has been on the move this month! We have had an event-filled month with little down time! Needless to say, my blogging has taken a back seat to the hustle and bustle. I will be posting pictures soon, as we have so much to share. Two very big moments for our family happened this past month and I couldn't wait to share. First, we finalized Chloe's adoption! We cannot thank our families and friends enough for all of their love and support throughout this journey. Chloe is living proof that God answers prayers in a mighty way and for that we are eternally grateful! Secondly, Chloe started 'school' (aka daycare) today. I have gone back to work full time, which we knew would eventually come, thus the need for her to start 'school.' However no tears for this workin' mama! :) I was too incredibly excited for her because she LOVES other children. I will have to admit, I was a bit anxious all day, but God gave me a tremendous sense of peace today, which was just what I needed. When I picked her up, her teachers just went on and on about how good she was and how much fun she had...and they were right, she passed out stone cold asleep in her car seat before we ever got out of the parking lot...a true sign of a happily exhausted child! This weekend I will get caught up on my blogging...finally, so stay tuned! Many continued blessings to all!
