New Addition to the Family!

She's finally here! On Friday, the Rogers' family welcomed our newest member. She still doesn't have a name yet, but she is happy and healthy! This sweet little bundle weighed 9lbs 8 oz and was 20 inches long and has a head full of thick hair. Uncle Shawn and Aunt Julia are all doing well and should be going home tomorrow. She is cute as a button and quite the love bug...she loves to be held. Chloe is sooo EXCITED to have a new cousin and can't wait to meet her.

The Easter Blues

Unfortunately our little one was quite sick this Easter. However, that didn't stop us for reading her new book about Jesus and enjoying the other amazing gifts the 'Easter Bunny' left for Chloe. Even though she felt lousy, she still loved exploring her Easter goodies and reading her new books. A very creative young lady, Austyn, who knows Mimi, was so kind to make Chloe an incredible Easter care package. Thank You Austyn!

School is a Battlefield...

Our little 'wounded soldier' came home from battling her art table at school. This is Chloe's first battle boo-boo of many more to come I am sure. A colorful pump knot right square in the middle of her forehead. Never fear, for she is a tough little warrior...her teachers said she was more mad as they iced her ever swelling forehead because she couldn't play...not that her head hurt. She is a trooper for sure.

Chloe's got the Fever...

...the March Madness Fever! We have been watching a lot of basketball in our house this month. Chloe loves watching basketball with her Daddy.

Ladies and gentleman...here she is...our future lady vol! Chloe has a stuffed plush basketball...one of the few toys that actually survived Daddy's childhood. Look how excited she was! Too cute!

Chloe's new 'Up-Do'

I cannot say enough good things about Chloe's day care ~ ESPECIALLY her wonderful teachers. I came home earlier this week to the most adorable sight...my baby's new 'up-do' ~ her first pig tails thanks to one of her teachers! She looked so cute! But bless her heart, those pig tails stuck straight up...it looked like she had horns...makes me laugh just thinking about it! They are hard to see in some of these pics, so you might have to look closely. I also brought her home her first art tablet and crayons...and she LOVED them! She colored all night! It reminded me of how excited I used to get when my Mama Jane brought me a new art tablet and crayons...so this was a special moment for me to be able to do the same for my little girl.

This website is a definite must see. Nana BB got Chloe a few swim suits from Kelly's Kids and they are ADORABLE! Mom even sent Chloe a gift certificate so we could do some additional damage ~ LOL! Thank you Nana BB! Just wanted to share as I love monogrammed outfits and these are adorable!

WWF Bound!

Chloe got the cutest, and largest, Valentine puppy from Mimi this year. She loves to body slam this poor plush pooch and then stands up and manages to complete the most graceful out-of-water belly flop you have ever seen. Thank goodness he is stuffed! WWF here we come! LOL! However, when she gets tired late in the evening, she loves to snuggle with her puppy and just take a break. I never could have imagined how entertaining, heart-warming, and truly wonderful having a child has been so far. There is never a day that I do not thank the dear Lord for the blessing of such a wonderful husband, family and for my precious baby girl!

Saturdays with Mickey and the Gang!

Hello, my name is Chloe and I am addicted to.....Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! No Joke! This is serious business to Chloe...also requiring the most important essentials to ensure she enjoys her show to the fullest. If you look closely, she is sporting her coordinating Mickey Mouse Clubhouse sippy cup...which normally is accompanied by her authentic Mickey Mouse plush who has (only temporarily) been replaced by her new Valentine's Day puppy Mimi got her. Saturday mornings are like Groundhog Day at our home....however, please do not be misled as we are not complaining...we are so blessed to all have each other and live to relive days like these...God is SOOO GOOD!!

This one is for you Uncle Brother...

Uncle Brother got Chloe a really cool Christmas present this year. It is a Leap Frog activity center type toy...you will see what I mean from the pics. However, Chloe has become quite the neat freak...literally. If she finds anything small enough to fit in the 'storage compartment' of her activity table, she does everything she can to make it fit. We have found lost chapstick, pieces of fabric, kleenex, hair rubber bands, etc. Here are some cute action shots.

The Briar Patch...a Must See!

My wonderful cousin, Katherine, made the most gorgeous reversible monogrammed jumper dress for Chloe for her 1st birthday! She has a shop on ETSY, that you have to check out. Spring Fever!!

What a gorgeous day today was! Chloe and I watched Daddy wash cars as we soaked up some much needed sun. It was so nice to venture outdoors! I am going to try my best about keeping our family blog up to date more. I have been busy working on a photography blog, which along with the many other hats I wear these days, has unfortunately not left much time for blogging. But I just had to share some updated pics of Chloe and our wonderful play date outside!

Confession time...yes, I am going to be one of those sabotaging parents who will torture my child throughout her years with the constant reminder of those 'most embarrassing' moments I have strategically captured. This is one of those moments...I am thinking Senior yearbook...any other thoughts? LOLOLOLOL!!
