Must see!!!

I just cried my eyes out! I hope I have done this correctly. We had a local photographer, Kristen Overbay, come to the house to take pictures of Chloe. She will be coming back periodically throughout the year to take more pictures. She put some of the pictures to a slide show with music...so make sure you have your speakers turned on and click on the link above 'Chloe's newborn pictures.' We will share more pictures once we receive them. A BIG THANK YOU to Kristen who spent almost 2 hours with us capturing these precious moments of our little girl! You should check out her work...it is AMAZING! We have a link to her blog on our page. Hope you enjoy!

This is dedicated to the one we love!

Guess who is turning 30 tomorrow!?!?!?!

Happy 30th Birthday Chris!
All our love,
Chloe and Mommy!

Chloe's 1st Trip to Florida...via flying the friendly skies!

Chloe is such a trooper! We recently took a very quick trip to visit my Dad's family in Florida. In the attempts to save time and money, we flew. Honestly, I was a nervous wreck...just not knowing how Chloe would take to flying and the logistics of it all. Again, the Dear Lord saw us through and we had a WONDERFUL trip! Chloe slept all the way there and back. Amazing! We even had a family reunion/baby shower too!
Chris got to go deep sea fishing with my Uncle Ren. He took these gorgeous pics of the sunrise!
I think Daddy missed Chloe...even though he had a blast deep sea fishing.

Got to get some Z's before the family arrives!

Nothing gets that baby bottom squeaky clean quite like the kitchen sink...even in Florida!
My Aunts, Uncles, and cousin. We had a WONDERFUL visit! We love you all!

Chloe's Vonore Baby Shower

THANK YOU, to everyone involved in Chloe's baby shower in Vonore! We had a wonderful time and Chloe recieved SO many nice gifts. The shower was way more than we could have expected. We love you all so very much and are sincerely grateful!

Heading to Vonore for the first time. And Chloe's first trip to church!
Loved the cake! How cute!
Our new little family.

Chloe's new outfit from Mimi...definitely one of her favorites!

Chloe and Mamy...Sorry hunny, but there is a new 'Mamy's' baby in town! LOL! We love you Amy!

Chloe and Susie.

Uncle Shawn adores Chloe!

Splish Splash Chloe's Takin' a Bath!

These were taken a few weeks ago and are so adorable! Chloe turned 8 weeks old yesterday. It's hard to believe she is now 8 weeks...and hard to believe how much she has grown and changed in such a short amount of time ~ still amazes me!

Yes...Mommy had to make sure that not too much was showing! :)
Look at that belly! You can tell she isn't hurting for food! LOL!

She's 6 weeks old!

OK...so I am a bit behind on my blogging. :) These were taken last Tuesday...when Chloe turned 6 weeks. She is actually 7 weeks old today (2-10-09).

Random Pics

These pictures were also taken last week. It appears we are going to have quite the student on our hands! Chloe was stone cold asleep with her hand in the air..."Teacher, Teacher...call on me!"

This just goes to show you how long she is. We are thinking basketball, volleyball, maybe modeling. LOL!

Conversations with Mr. Frog

Chloe loves to 'try' to talk to Mr. Frog. Mr. Frog is a musical frog. Whenever you bump/hit Mr. Frog he plays a musical tune. Chloe loves to hear him play. However, sometimes she does not hit him hard enough and he does not play. When that happens, she definitely has something to say about it. She tries so hard to talk to him...probably trying to explain that she wants to hear some tunes! Here are some pics of her in action.

'What you talkin' bout Willis?!?!'

These pictures really need no words. Chloe is so animated and already has such a variety of facial expressions. She may not be able to talk, but she can definitely communicate.
I have often wondered what goes on in the mind of a baby/small child who cannot speak yet...especially when a much larger version of themselves (adults) are hovering over them talking baby talk...the goo goo gaa gaa language. I now know thanks to these pics. The first thing that popped in to my head when I saw these was that famous line from the old TV show "Different Strokes." I swear if she could have talked she would have said, "What you talkin' bout Willis?!?!" Oh to see oursevles through her eyes...it must be very amusing and confusing!

SNOW!!

Yesterday it REALLY snowed. I'll bet we got almost 3 inches. It was truly a welcome sight and absolutely gorgeous. You see, we see snow rarely around here...and if it actually sticks on the ground, the whole city shuts down! LOL! With all the polution it's no wonder it takes a miracle for it to actually stick...but this time, it did!
The dogs LOVED playing in the snow!

Road Trip!

This past weekend, we took our first official mini-road trip. We went to visit Nana B.B. I was a bit skeptical and nervous as to how traveling with a 5.5 week old baby, a 7 year old dog, and a 6 year old dog would go....PERFECT! I know I say this a lot, but we are SOOO BLESSED! We all got there and back in one piece and had a wonderful visit with Nana and the rest of my family.

My cousin, Heather & her daughter (my God-daughter), Hailey.

Say Cheese!

Needless to say it was snowing like crazy today. We got almost 3 inches! So, in the attempts to entertain ourselves, what did we do? Took more pictures of Chloe of course. LOL! Witnessing those 'firsts' in your children's lives are breathtaking. However, to actually be able to capture these precious moments on camera are truly priceless. Enjoy!
