This just goes to show that every child is so unique and different. We made sure to purchase enough 'binkies' that were exactly like the ones used at the hospital. However, not only did Chloe not need/want a 'binky' at the hospital, but she wasn't all that crazy about them either. As you can see, the pink binkie practically consumed her entire face! LOL! Not to mention, that being the brand new parents we are, we kept putting the binky in upside down! Heaven help this poor child ~ her parents know not what they do. Thank goodness the nurse at the Pediatrician's office kindly pointed this out.
So...when in doubt, we took a trip down memory lane, back to our childhoods and gave the good ole Nuk Nuk a go. Success! She loves her Nuk Nuk! And yes...we put this one in right side up. LOL! Hopefully her new trusty Nuk will keep her pacified as it did me growing up. We are just praying she doesn't start gnawing on her bed or any other furniture in the house like Chris used to. Like I said, all children are so unique and different.
